Biography

Hannah Alpert-Abrams is a Humanities Administrator (Organization Infrastructure)) in the Office of Data and Evaluation. She is a digital humanist and information scientist with a PhD in comparative literature from the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to joining the NEH, she taught, conducted research, and led digital projects at LLILAS Benson Latin American Studies and Collections at the University of Texas at Austin and at the John Carter Brown Library at Brown University. She has published widely in the fields of information science, digital humanities, human rights, natural language processing, and book history.
