An NEH grant to the National Liberty Museum is supporting a special "Voices of Liberty" podcast series exploring the meaning of liberty and freedom through interviews with scholars, curators, politicians, performers, artists, and community members. The series —which debuts in 2026 as part of the museum’s programming commemorating the nation’s 250th anniversary— will also examine how these founding ideals are interpreted in the 21st century compared to their inclusion in the Declaration of Independence in 1776.
