Steven Lubet and Rachel Maines

Steven Lubet, the author of John Brown’s Spy and The “Colored” Hero of Harpers Ferry, is Williams Memorial Professor at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. Rachel Maines is an historian of technology and an independent scholar. She is the author of three books and many articles on technology and material culture.
