Preserving an Island's History

North Haven is a small island community off the coast of Maine, with a history dating back to 1762 when the first permanent settler arrived. 2016 Humanities Grant Awards and Offers

Humanities Access Grant Projects

The National Endowment for the Humanities announced the first recipients of its new Humanities Access grant. 34 institutions and organizations will receive a total of $3,000,000 in matching funds to support humanities programming targeting groups that have historically lacked access to the humanities.
