Angelica Hankins

Josh Sternfeld, a Senior Program Officer in the Division of Collections and Infrastructure, joined NEH in 2009. Prior to his arrival at the Endowment, Josh was Assistant Director and Postdoctoral Scholar for the UCLA Center for Information as Evidence and Information Studies Department. He holds a B.A. in History from Princeton University and a Ph.D. in European History from UCLA. His publications have appeared in American Historical Review, American Archivist, the Journal of Digital Humanities, and elsewhere.

Mark Silver is a Senior Program Officer in the Division of Research Programs, where he is the team leader for the Public Scholars program and for Fellowships for Advanced Social Science Research on Japan. He holds a Ph.D. in East Asian Languages and Literatures from Yale University. He is the author of Purloined Letters: Cultural Borrowing and Japanese Crime Literature, 1868-1937 (University of Hawaii Press, 2008) as well as a number of book reviews, peer-reviewed articles, and translations in the fields of modern Japanese literature and culture. He has taught at Middlebury College, Connecticut College, and Colgate University. 

Jennifer Serventi is a Senior Program Officer in the Division of Collections & Infrastructure. She previously worked in NEH's Office of Digital Humanities, where she coordinated the Institutes for Advanced Topics in the Digital Humanities program and worked extensively with the Digital Humanities Advancement Grants and the Digging into Data Challenge programs. Prior to joining ODH in 2007, she served in NEH's Divisions of Research and Education Programs. Before coming to the Endowment in 1994, she was a staff member at the Institute of Museum and Library Services. She received her BA in history and government from Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, California.
