UGA project receives$743,658 grant to preserve colonial history

A University of Georgia project has received a $743,658 National Endowment for the Humanities grant to preserve and expand access to Georgia’s colonial history.

The three-year project, Many Eyes on the Road to Revolution in Colonial Georgia, will examine the state’s history from 1732 to 1798. Led by Amanda Roberts Thompson, Carey Garland and Katherine Stein, the effort brings together institutions focused on historical preservation.
