Root Words story gathering begins second year

(February 21, 2019)

The Root Words project has begun its second year with plans to highlight the region’s working landscape, evolving culture and colorful characters through storytelling, food, crafts, portraits of the economy and entertainment. The project is a collaboration of the Vermont Farmers Food Center and the Shrewsbury Institute for Agricultural Education (SAGE).

Root Words is made possible with a grant of the National Endowment for the Humanities: Exploring the Human Endeavor, whose stated mission is to interpret the past, engage the present and inform the future.
