Documenting traditions: BGSU gets grant for library work with Islamic Center

The National Endowment for the Humanities has awarded a grant to the Bowling Green State University Center for Archival Collections for digital archiving focused on the history of the Northwest Ohio Muslim community.

The Common Heritage Grant was announced Dec. 12. The BGSU center is working with the Islamic Center of Greater Toledo to implement the $12,000 grant, which will consist of a scanning day and two exhibits, one at the Islamic Center and one at BGSU.
