Then and Now, curated by Kelli Luchs and Derek Weis, is a Nevada Humanities Exhibition Series that showcases the collaboration of the Las Vegas News Bureau and the Neon Museum to create an exhibition that juxtaposes the brilliant neon signs, as they stand today in the Neon Boneyard, against their vintage images from the News Bureau’s archive.  These images reveal the impact that neon had in Las Vegas from its early days to the present. This innovative look at the history of Las Vegas highlights the origins of the city’s signs and their ever-evolving styles and architecture.

Free and open to the public.

Funded project of Nevada Humanities, a state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
