Please join us for this historic documentary that chronicles the creation and the development of LeDroit Park and the contributions made by the African-Americans who have lived there for over 100 years. It is because of their pioneering work that LeDroit Park has become an American treasure.

Following the screening a panel of experts on gentrification and its effect on DC communities will have a moderated discussion and audience Q&A.

Free event.

Funded project of the Humanities Council of Washington, DC, an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
