The Wisconsin German Experience is captured in a traveling exhibit shown in a number of communities across the state. The exhibit addresses the history of German migration to Wisconsin, questions of ethnicity and identity in newly forged Wisconsin communities, and the cohesiveness of these communities over the decades, especially in times of economic crisis or war. In each location, additional displays or programming will augment the exhibit.

Funded project of the Wisconsin Humanities Council, a state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
