Ballet Spartanburg will offer free African Dance Classes at their Center for Dance Education through June 2019. The goal of the program is to introduce people of various communities in Spartanburg to the cultural traditions of West African Dance.
There are no age requirements, and no dance experience required.
South Carolina Humanities supported this program with a Mini Grant in November 2018. South Carolina Humanities is a state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
