Expand the Field with the IATDH Program

February 15, 2019
Institutes For Advanced Topics In The Digital Humanities

The Office of Digital Humanities (ODH) is ready to read draft applications for the Institutes for Advanced Topics in the Digital Humanities (IATDH) program. It supports national or regional (multistate) training programs for scholars, humanities professionals, and advanced graduate students to broaden and extend their knowledge of digital humanities.

Applicants may apply to direct professional development opportunities that are offered once or multiple times to different audiences, meeting in person or virtually, or both. Institutes may focus on a particular digital method or target the needs of a specific audience.

What are the biggest needs for training in the field, and how can you help?

Peek at the list of institutes funded by ODH since 2008, as you consider planning your own.  We also offer samples of previously supported IATDH projects and a very informative Frequently Asked Question document available on the program page.

Please send drafts by February 26 to @email to receive feedback from an ODH Program Officer. Submission of a draft application is optional.

All proposals are due March 26, 2019. Grab the 2019 guidelines, and go!
