Angelica Hankins

Geoff Burrows is a senior program officer in the Division of Lifelong Learning. A historian of Latin America, the Caribbean, and the United States, his publications include The Puerto Rico Reconstruction Administration: New Deal Public Works, Modernization, and Colonial Reform (University of Florida Press, 2024). He received a PhD from the CUNY Graduate Center and has taught at Seton Hall University, Queens College, Hunter College, and the College of Staten Island.

Tatiana Ausema works in NEH’s Division of Collections and Infrastructure, focusing on infrastructure and resilience initiatives, as well as interagency disaster response and recovery. Before joining NEH, Tatiana worked at the Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden as a research conservator specializing in modern paint and paintings. Between 2007 and 2010 she also worked in the Hirshhorn’s Collection Management department, focusing on collection-wide preventive conservation and digitization efforts. Tatiana holds MSc and BA degrees in Art Conservation from the University of Delaware and has held fellowships at the Netherlands Institute for Cultural Heritage, Western Center for the Conservation of Fine Art, and the Getty Conservation Institute.
