Biography

Jacquelyn Clements joined the Division of Preservation and Access as a Program Officer in January 2020. She holds an MA in classical archaeology from Florida State University and a PhD in the history of art from Johns Hopkins University. Her research interests focus on the history of art and archaeology of the ancient Mediterranean world. From 2015 to 2017, Clements was a CLIR/Mellon postdoctoral fellow in data curation at the University of Toronto. Most recently, she was a research and metadata assistant in collecting and provenance at the Getty Research Institute, working on digital projects pertaining to the history of collecting and the art market. She has also been an instructor of provenance research for Johns Hopkins University’s Masters in Museum Studies program.
