At long last, we are very pleased to present the videos from the 2014 Office of Digital Humanities Project Directors Meeting, which was held September 15, 2014 in the NEH's new digs at the Constitution Center in Washington, DC.  This meeting convened the top researchers in the digital humanities from across the Unitied States, who shared their projects in short, three-minute lightning round presentations.  Enjoy these videos from project directors of NEH's Digital Humanities Start-Up Grants.

NEH Awards Cooperative Agreement to Virginia Tech for “Images and Texts in Medical History” Workshop to be hosted at the US National Library of Medicine

The Office of Digital Humanities is pleased to announce the award for a cooperative agreement to fund the workshop, Images and Texts in Medical History: An Introduction to Methods, Tools, and Data from the Digital Humanities. The project is a collaborative effort among the NEH, Virginia Tech, the US National Library of Medicine, and the Wellcome Library. Virginia Tech historian E. Thomas Ewing will direct the workshop.

The Office of Digital Humanities is happy to announce 17 awards from our Digital Humanities Start-Up Grant program from our September 2014 deadline. These awards are part of a larger slate of 232 grants just announced by the NEH.

The Fort Vancouver Mobile Project
