Digital Marketing Manager
Before joining NEH, Emily Vaughn worked as the Restaurant Marketing Manager for José Andrés' ThinkFoodGroup, where she oversaw the execution of marketing strategy and programming for full-service and fast-casual brands in several major markets throughout the United States. Prior to that, she served as the communications and development associate for The Aslan Project, managing the organization’s fundraising and outreach efforts in support of building pediatric hematology-oncology programs in Ethiopia and Kenya. Vaughn received a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she conducted undergraduate research in capital punishment and media framing. She is a native of Washington, D.C., where she currently lives with her fiancé and two cats.
