Smithsonian American Art Museum webcast discussion of the Haiti Cultural Recovery Project, a joint effort between NEH, the Smithsonian, the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities (PCAH), American Institute for Conservation (AIC), U.S. Committee of the Blue Shield, and Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) to help the Haitian government recover and restore Haiti’s cultural heritage after the January 2010 earthquake. Also the subject of a The New York Times article, “Rescuing Art from the Rubble of the Quake."
