Current Mississippi and United States Poet Laureate Natasha Trethewey will give a reading of her poetry at Jackson State University in an event cosponsored by the Mississippi Humanities Council. This event is being brought to Mississippi by the Library of Congress along with the Margaret Walker Center, the Mississippi Arts Commission, the Mississippi Humanities Council, the Mississippi Library Commission, the Mississippi Center for the Book, and the National Center for the Book.
