The Athens Asylum: 150 Years of a Healing Landscape

March 17, 2018December 31, 2018

This exhibit is the centerpiece of our 9-month commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the Athens Asylum. The exhibit will focus on how healing, both medical and personal, was defined at the Athens Asylum in the past, and how the Athens community can bring healing to the Asylum landscape today.

On March 24th, there will be a brief gallery talk from curator, Jessica Cyders, and guest curator, Katherine Ziff.

Funded project of Ohio Humanities, a state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
