The 19th Century Response to Women’s Suffrage

Based on her own original research Dr. Roxanna Pisiak of the Humanities Department at Morrisville State College will address “The 19th Century Upstate Response to Women’s Suffrage” in a lecture at Oneida Public Library June 8, 2017. Dr. Pisiak has been teaching the humanities at Morrisville for over 20 years. Her areas of expertise include American Studies, Film Studies, and Visual Communication. She has received Morrisville’s Distinguished Faculty Award and the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching. 

This program was funded in part by a Humanities New York Action Grant.
