The Chippewa Valley museum is hosting the traveling exhibit, "Risking Everything: A Freedom Summer Exhibit for Students," from the Wisconsin Historical Society. This exhibit explores the civil rights era by focusing on the 1964 Freedom Summer project. A series of events is planned in conjunction with the exhibition to appeal to a cross-generational audience beyond the UW-Eau Claire campus and throughout the Chippewa Valley.
Funded project of the Wisconsin Humanities Council. The Wisconsin Humanities Council is a state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
