The White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities (WHIHBCU) will be hosting a series of webinars to educate Historically Black Colleges and Universities on the grants and opportunities available to them throughout the federal government.
This webinar will provide participants with information about federal funding opportunities at the National Endowment for the Humanities, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary as one of the largest public funders of individuals and institutions whose projects advance the understanding and appreciation of history, literature, philosophy and other cultural topics. NEH staff will describe its available grant programs in areas such as research, preservation, and others.
Additional topics to be addressed include application-writing strategies, and the application submission and review process. Attendees will gain an understanding of how their work and research matches available NEH opportunities. Faculty, staff, and administrators from the HBCU community are invited to view the webinar live and ask questions.
