August 25, 2015 | By Public Programs Staff

Division of Public Programs staff Karen Kenton, Jill Austin, and Talisha Saddler and division intern, George Lazopoulos, will be on hand to answer questions at the 15th annual National Book Festival, Saturday, September 5, 2015, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Washington, DC. Visit NEH’s booth in the Pavilion of the States (booth #653) to learn more about projects NEH funds, including information about the agency’s Common Good initiative (including Standing Together, Latino Americans: 500 Years of History, and Created Equal: America’s Civil Rights Struggle) and resources for educators.  Be sure to ask about upcoming documentary premieres of Walt Disney, The Pilgrims, and Debt of Honor.

While at the Festival, be sure to stroll through the Pavilion of the States and attend presentations by Humanities Medalists Annette Gordon-Reed and Marilynne Robinson; Jefferson Lecturers Walter Isaacson and David McCullough; National Council member Jay Winik; and National Trust member, Cokie Roberts. Visit the Library of Congress website for a full list of authors.
