NEH at DH2017

August 4, 2017 | By NEH Staff

Three NEH staff members from the Endowment’s offices and divisions will be attending the 2017 Digital Humanities annual meeting in Montreal, from August 8th – August 11th.  We will be available to discuss all of the many NEH grant opportunities and professional development programs that support digital work in scholarly infrastructure, preservation and access, research and scholarship, and teaching and public engagement.

To schedule a time to meet, please email Brett Bobley (Office of Digital Humanities), Leah Weinryb Grohsgal (Division of Preservation and Access), or Jennifer Serventi (Office of Digital Humanities) with two or three 15- or 20-minute blocks of time when you would be available.

Thursday, August 10, 1:30-3:00 pm

As member of a session on the potential of digitized and digital newspapers, Leah Weinryb Grohsgal (Division of Preservation and Access) will be presenting “Using Big Data to Ask Big Questions: A Digital Humanities Challenge in Historic Newspapers” about the Chronicling America Historic American Newspapers Data Challenge.

We look forward to seeing you at the meeting!  Don’t forget to ask for one of our NEH stickers for your laptop!
