Internship: Grant Management
The principal role of the Office of Grant Management (OGM) is to ensure uniform administration of grants and cooperative agreements throughout the agency, develop and implement related policy, and complement the knowledge of program staff with expertise in federal grant administration. The office is responsible for ensuring that both the NEH and the recipients fulfill all requirements of federal financial assistance laws, regulations, OMB circulars, and related government-wide and NEH financial assistance policy (governing authorities).
Interns would assist with the review of recommended applications, post-award financial report review, and closeout and archiving of grant and cooperative agreement records. Interns may also perform statistical work related to OGM actions. Rising juniors, seniors, or graduate students in the humanities are encouraged to apply. Demonstrated writing, basic math, and computer skills are required.
