Jeremy D. Bailey, assistant professor of political science at the University of Houston, used his 2005 Summer Stipend to write part of Thomas Jefferson and Executive Power (Cambridge University Press, 2007), a reconsideration of Thomas Jefferson’s understanding of the role of the executive branch of government.
