Mission Statement
The Chief Information Officer and the Office of Information
Resources Management provide the technology infrastructure to
support the agency's missions. This includes the planning,
developing, testing, implementing, securing, and supporting of
technology-based business solutions which enable our staff to
meet our agency's strategic goals.

Grants.Gov System-to-System Interface -- NEH has developed a
sophisticated (yet very low-cost) system-to-system interface between our
back-end grants server and Grants.Gov. This interface implements web services

Enterprise Architecture
[MS Word]--An enterprise architecture (EA)
establishes the Agency-wide roadmap to achieve an Agency's
mission through optimal performance of its core business
processes within an efficient information technology (IT)
environment. Simply stated, enterprise architectures are
"blueprints" for systematically and completely defining an
organizations current (baseline) or desired (target)
environment.
IT Strategic Plan
[MS Word] --The IT Strategic Plan supports the
agency-wide
strategic plan. It describes how IT activities help
accomplish agency missions and ensures that IT decisions are
integrated with planning, procurement, budget, and program
decisions.
IT Capital Plan
[MS Word] -- The IT Capital Plan is operational in nature and supports the goals
and missions identified in the IRM Strategic Plan and the Enterprise
Architecture.
IT Security Policies, Procedures, and Rules of
Behavior [MS Word] -- This document describes the agency's general
computer security polices. This includes security roles,
protection of data, operational controls, and user rules of
behavior.
