These narrative portions from NEH Challenge Grant applications are provided as examples of funded proposals. They are only examples, not templates. Every successful application is different, and each applicant is urged to prepare a proposal that reflects the institution’s unique programs and aspirations. Prospective applicants are also strongly encouraged to consult with staff in the NEH Office of Challenge Grants well before the application deadline.
