South Dakota State University, First Bank and Trust, the City of Brookings and the South Dakota Humanities Council are pleased to announce renowned tribal writer, filmmaker, and author Sherman Alexie will be speaking at South Dakota State University to kick off the 2012 SD Festival of Books. Alexie’s book The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-time Indian is the companion text to SDHC’s 2012 One Book South Dakota program.
