Back in September, ODH profiled Scripto [2], a “free, open source tool enabling community transcriptions of document and multimedia files” that was funded through a Digital Humanities Start-Up Grant.  Today is Scripto’s official launch day -- the Scripto plug-in is now available for public use for Omeka, and is in public beta for both WordPress and Drupal.  If you have documents in need of transcription software and you use any of those three content management platforms, download the plug-in [3] and get started!
