In the News: Ohio Historical Society

April 11, 2012 | By Adriana Cutler

The Ohio Historical Society [1] has featured a brief history of the Battle of Shiloh [2]based on recently uploaded digitized Civil War era newspapers to Chronicling America [3], a joint program by the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Library of Congress.  In the posting, you will find links to some of the key newspaper coverage, including a clipping from the Fremont Journal  [4]dating from April 11, 1862.

Learn more about these recent additions and others to Chronicling America from the Ohio Hisotrical Society [5]'s blog [5].
