Senior Program Officer Danielle Shapiro participated in the 2012 AASLH annual national conference of the American Association for State and Local History, which ran October 3 to October 6, 2012, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She provided information about NEH funding opportunities during a conference session and at the NEH table in the exhibitor’s hall with NEH colleagues Brandon Johnson and Andrea Anderson. David Weinstein recently visited the NEH-funded exhibition American Spirits: The Rise and Fall of Prohibition at the National Constitution Center [3]in Philadelphia. He also spoke at the “Bootleggers Ball,” the opening event for the exhibition.
