NEH Announces $3.6 Million for “Humanities in the Public Square”
Ken Burns, acclaimed documentary filmmaker, has been chosen to deliver the 2016 Jefferson Lecture in the Humanities at the John F. Kennedy Center on May 9, from Associated Press.
The West Baton Rouge Museum in Louisiana screened the documentary The Abolitionists on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day as part of their awarding of an NEH Created Equal grant, from the New Orleans Advocate.
NEH Chairman William Adams will deliver “Wicked Problems: The Humanities in the Time of STEM” at the 15th annual Sidhartha Maitra Memorial Lecture on January 28 at the University of California Santa Cruz, from the UC Santa Cruz Newsletter.
