NEH Chairman Jim Leach’s statement on Rocco Landesman’s retirement from the National Endowment for the Arts

WASHINGTON, DC (November 20, 2012) – Jim Leach, Chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) issued the following statement in response to an announcement by Rocco Landesman, Chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) of his upcoming retirement:

“Rocco has energized the federal role in the arts, clarifying that arts are not only about creativity but about jobs.”
