NEH-Funded Films Win Emmys

Two NEH-supported documentaries shown on PBS in 1997 won Emmys, the annual award given to the best shows on television. The Great War and the Shaping of the Twentieth Century was selected as the best information series, and TR, the film biography of Theodore Roosevelt, won the prize for research and writing.
