"Voices of the Indiantown"

"Voices of the Indiantown."  The Nanticoke Historic Preservation Alliance will present its documentary film, "Voices of the Indiantown," which tells the history of the African American families who sharecropped in the Indiantown area around the Handsell plantation in Dorchester County, Maryland.

Maryland Humanities Council grant-funded program.  The Maryland Humanities Council is supported in part by the National Endowment for the Humanities, the State of Maryland, and the William G. Baker, Jr. Memorial Fund, creator of the Baker Artisit Awards.
