The arts can help veterans understand and communicate their military experience. Veterans, their families, and the community are invited to just listen or to tell their stories through visual art, performance, and the written word. See their creations, learn about the history of veterans expressing war through the arts from a distinguished panel led by Steve Inskeep of NPR’s Morning Edition, including Dr. Jonathan Shay (author of Achilles in Vietnam) and Mark Vonnegut, among others and experiment with your own creative activities.
