“Alice Hamilton of Fort Wayne: Scientist and Social Reformer,” lecture is presented by Bill Ringenberg and Matthew Ringenberg. The Ringenbergs will explore the life of Hamilton, whose discoveries pertaining to the lack of health and safety conditions in workplaces in the early 20th century led to reform legislation, most notably the founding of the Occupational Safety and Health Act.
