I'm very pleased to tell you that on the evening of December 3, 2009, at a special ceremony in Ottawa, Canada, NEH, SSHRC, JISC, and NSF will be announcing the awardees for the Digging into Data Challenge.

I'm very happy to say that the NEH has just announced 3 new awards from our JISC/NEH Transatlantic Digitization Collaboration grant program. This program is jointly funded by the NEH and the Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC), a joint committee of the U.K. further and higher education funding bodies.
