Abstract: Scriblio is an open source social library and digital collections system that allows libraries, archives, and other organizations make their materials available online in forms that support "digitally native" use and access. This proposal suggests a new means of implementing the software that may offer greater access to the tools and features it offers, and, by extension, allow the public and researchers greater access to the materials now hidden in the nation's libraries, archives, and historical societies.
