Bailey, assistant professor of political science at the University of Houston, used his 2005 Summer Stipend to write part of Thomas Jefferson and Executive Power (Cambridge University Press, 2007), a reconsideration of Thomas Jefferson’s understanding of the role of the executive branch of government. |
